Paint-by-number Dreams

by drew - Taurus

Moonshines, winking stars
Fine wines lay next to jars
On wooden shelves, pink eyes
Nebulation in the skies.
Creeping shadows drawing knots
Deadly still at random spots
To give reminder of the sun,
Dying sadly, on I run
Through silent darkness, troubled souls
In my mind a bell tolls.
Still quiet nothing as I ride
My magic carpet, cannot hide
The wonders of the seven seas,
Unbeknownst to honeybees,
The same that buzz around my head
Feeling like it’s made of lead,
Restrict the instument of siz,
It’s five or seven not betwixt,
They want it all and want it now
Every bit, they don’t care how.
I drift along another road
In the minor Phrygian mode
To where a blackened vampire beast
Enjoys his letuce, one more feast
For my eyes only, turn away,
I cannot leave but neither stay,
Just change the vision with my will
Nothing seems to fit the bill.
A giant grabs me by the ear...
Why is he my greatest fear?
Acceleration crushes me
Against the heavens, cannot flee
I settle into gentle flight
And gesture to him out of spite
Then slowly comes the softened ground,
Same to which we all are bound.
As I approach velocity drops
And like a pillow seems to stop
A common reaccuring dream
Which tears me from an iron seam.
In a room with simple friends
They all are high I can’t pretend
That I am free of this disease
But they will do just what they please
An outside touch might bring this on or
Maybe sunlight from the dawn
Has made my mind to jump with joy
And play my sleep like simple toy.
Whatever, I cannot deny
To love this one, my love to fly
And many more like these I’ve seen
Some are spotted, others clean
But all in all I will not weep
For these are visions from my sleep.

Reason for writing:

I had a really restless night and went through about every reoccuring dream 've ever had I think. These are the ones I can remember.
