I dream of a past summer night and wish that now was then To relive the fight and the moment you would win I tried so hard not to lose even though I did I would remember how hard I fought and now I know in the loss was a victory instead How can something feel so right even if it's not? The kiss that put down my guard and made me fall in love and made me fall so hard It caught me by surprise a sudden push or shove How I long for your embrace the one that makes me feel so safe And to feel the breath of love brush against my face Now I will awake, not to the moon but the window where I began with the hope to see you soon I start the day again

Two summers ago I met this guy and it was instint sparks. I wrote this poem for him so he would know he was in my dreams.
