Good and bad things clutter her mind, but do not burrow She knows she needs God, but her reply is "Maybe tomorrow" Her conscience pleads with her heart to change ways But as the devil tugs her back she says "Another day" She forgets the urges and now feels on top of the world But her life would soon change with a deafening roar She sees blue and red lights flashing in the still of the night "Oh no! There's an unconscious girl, is she all right?" As she moves slowly to the body lying on the ground Shock enters her body and soon surrounds Her screams pierce through like a knife in the sky "It can't be true," she yells, "I wasn't ready to die!" She watches as her limp body is placed on the stretcher Everyone leaves the scene and nothing is left but her Her terrified soul wonders, "What will happen now?" But when God calls this child her answer would soon be found A shining brightness soon filled the still air Within a second she was starting into eyes filled with care "Are you God," she asked, "the one I always heard of?" He said, "Yes my sweet child, you are here at my home, full of love." She said "I am so grateful to be entering Heaven's Pearly Gates." But God said, "I am sorry your chance passed now its too late God said, " I sent many to teach you of my love, I know they tried." But each time they approached you always denied "Your name has not been written in the Book of Life Now you have to live with much grief and strife." "I am sorry Lord," she yelled, "I never knew!" "I always thought I had time and then could be with you." "My child your time has ended living in the earth's cell I am sorry, but you are going to live in hell." "NO!NO!NO!" she screamed as the demons took her capture She was gone now to live a life of torture God's pain was apparent as he lost another child His sweet tears could trickle for miles and miles
Reason for writing:
God's undying love was my inspiration for this poem. If by reading this, I could change anyone's mind from putting God second just another day, then its worth could be unspoken for.
