We never said good bye, We said we would never cry. A farewell lost, In an emotion of love. Why did our love have to end? Why did our dreams have to fade? For we were so in love, That nothing we dreamed of, Could get in our way. Why does my heart beat in loneliness, Why are my nights filled with emptiness. A farewell we lost, Over the tears we cried, When we said good bye. Tears are never distant, There are no more chances left, For each breath I take, I just cannot help but to stay awake, Crying over our lost farewell.
