DEPRESSION!!! I call you out !, I am prepared for war, Thou hast dealt me so much dross, So many times before, And left the tears, from many years, On the step of my heart’s door, But Ah! Thou will no more ! The time has come for you and I, We shall battle to the end, One of us left standing, One shall no longer live. You charge at me cautiously, I strike you with my sword, You appear to be weakened, Unlike the times before ! Thou hast cut me deep inside, My endurance is of long length, Thou hast driven some to suicide, Now you are left without strength ! The war that we fight against depression can be won through
our Lord Jesus Christ. Depression is so rampant and
devastating it seems so strong, but it is only as strong as
we allow it to be.
