Has love slipped away from me again. Like the sands of time it slips through my fingers. Like water in your hand that never makes it to your mouth when you thirst. You try with all your might, but only a few drops get there. Just a taste just a tease, that's what Love is to me. Love points at me and calls my name, and then runs when I get close Yet I run after it time and time again. Am I hopeless or will Love slow down for me. Will it let me mount it's wings and fly? Fly to the place where laughter and joy fill the air. Where dreams come true everyday, every hour, every minute. Or will Love elude me all my life, just tease me again and again. Just out of my reach it stands and teases me. Come it whispers again, I'll let you catch me this time. I'm off again off to run after my dream, maybe this time, maybe this time.
