Lost in a world of emotions
Waiting for someone to help me out
My love keeps faltering
With the insecurities that submerge me
Always second guessing what I know to be true
In substitution for something much darker
Happiness can never consume my spirit
For darkness and pain will never give in
Sweet words of security he sings to me
Yet I keep searching for the bruise
Discrediting the love that is expressed
And spiraling downwards into oblivion
