I saw you walk, Across the door, I could not talk; It just hurt more. The guilt inside me, Which I had kept for years, Came out so suddenly, And made me burst into tears... Desobediance of the heart, At such a young age; I use to feel smart, But now, only rage. The comfort, the safety, When you're standing beside me, Make me forget, All the pain, the regret... Thank you so dearly, For crossing that door; You've made me so happy, And there's nothing I wanted more... -Eric Charland
