A secret is kept in the depth of your heart. Only shared by those you trust. They believe that you will carry this honor to never tell. No matter what comes unjust. It takes time to build such trust. To know that will not let you down. But when that person breaks your bond. You feel not, you see not, but hear a silent sound. That trust can never be again. Not like it was or meant to be. It hurts so bad to be torn up the way. So you in tears will fall crying to your knees. It seems impossible to tell them anything. Sometimes you will long to be friends again. But then you will remember the pain. So you look away, even if them, you will ofend.
Reason for writing:
With a very important and personal time in my life, I had a friend whom broke a promise not to tell this one person of what I was having to deal with. It was broken. It took a very long time to every regain that relationship with that friend. But we have.
