I grow weary in my search for you
Sometimes, I don't think that you even exist
I look for you everywhere I go,
Hoping that one day your face will show
I'm tired of meeting men who act sweet,
making me believe I've found my special treat
Only to discover that again, I've been beaten
I hope God will listen
As I pray for him to help me with my mission
I often fantasize about how you'd be
Dreaming about all the love that you'd give to me
You are just an image in my mind
Kinda like a jewel that's one of a kind
For you are the treasure that I'm trying to find
Friends say I need to keep my mind on the daily grind
They always tell me not to fear,
cause you are surly near
These words of advice,
Just aren't suffice
For this beautiful dream I just can't sacrifice
My heart yearns for the day
When I can look at you and say............
