She stands in the center The hundreds of staring eyes trap her They follow her Criticize her Judge her As if her worth is determined By their opinion She glares back A defiant stare Almost worthy of their hate She momentarily forgets all she stands for And she considers joining them Just to end the anger The circle tightens As they edge towards her Determined she not escape them Silence as they look on in hate Then a shout escapes her lips And she bolts She will never surrender
