Lost in the darkness I fled with my fears I've lingered long on forgotten years I ran 'till I broke and could take it no more Then screamed to the streets, "What is this all for?" But now I am older, wiser and changed I won't bleed the streets nor beg for the change But change has two meanings A double sided face It can be a prophet's pleading Or a lifetime's disgrace The rain is my tears I watch from afar I cry from the heavens I'm an angel with scars Lost in the darkness I'll always be I woke up too late There's nothing to see
Reason for writing:
Nothing better to do at the time
