Passionate Sex

by candice - Taurus

He sat back down
in his Sunday shoes
and tried to pick it apart
the conversation he had last week
is eating away at his heart
like the red ants crawling on the ground
her memory creeps back into his mind
and her pretty face is all he can see in his eyes
they used to make love
passionate sex
on the floor of their small apartment
downtown
but now someone else is inside her
she said she didn't love him anymore
and he wonders why
as his heart beats now
heavily and hollow in his empty cheast
and he searches the cracked sidewalks for answers
yet no answers are found

Reason for writing:

    Losing the one you love.
