Sickness striked at her soul No ailments were at her control Slowly and surely she started to slide I took her in my arms, at my side Wishing there was something that I could do A looming disease was beginning to brew I felt myself tremble with despair I wish it was my strength I could share The nights got colder and silent I wish my emotions weren't so defiant One dreadful night I held her tightly I never knew death could be so frightly I kissed her gingerly as she closed her eyes I looked at her sadly and let out a sigh Watery tears covered my face I would dearly miss her undying grace In knowing I had no hope I laid by her side... I slowly pulled out a bottle of wine And with her ghost, I would dine Crying unbearably, I closed my eyes too And said goodbye to the world I once knew We're both gone now, these are the sorrowful tidings... I bring you

Listened to a song that had a very depressing theme to it and it made me think about the death of someone I dearly loved.
