I knew one of these days, I'd be missin' you But I didn't know that day was today. They told me lies. I just wanted what was true. And slowly you slipped away. One last blink and one final breath You made your way out of this place. The word was on all of our lips: "death" And they covered your pale, cold face. How could it be? I tried with all my might. I tried to make you stay. But you decided we'd grieve you tonight, And you merrily went on your way. I don't think one wink we slept As our eyes, they glistened red. Slowly to our house we crept. And held each other tight in bed. "Why?" I cried? It wasn't your time How could I have been oblivious? That your health and courage were denied. You were ready. And it was so obvious. Now with angelic wings Finally, you get to fly. Discover the unreal things That are unseen by the eye. But I beg of you to do this for me And please, if you have the time. Have your hand outstretched for me When I am making my way to the sky.Birth sign: Aquarius
