We haven't always Been that close, But things have started To really look up. We argue sometimes, But we still connect On very emotional levels; Which makes me truly happy. You need to understand That I'm here forever. If you need to let it all out, You can count on me to listen. Through all your troubles, I'll be there to guide you. When you feel you're going astray, I'll be there to lead you back. You can confide in me, Anytime you need to vent All the emotions you're feeling. My love for you is always there. Anytime you're feeling down, And maybe not quite loved; I'll be there to remind you That my love carries on. Don't be afraid To call on me for counsel. Even though I'm your baby sis, I can help you through this. So, for future reference, Keep this in mind: You can confide in me, Anytime you need to vent All the emotions you're feeling. I wrote this poem at age 14 for my brother. He was depressed, but I talked with him and really cheered him up.
