We Shared Endorphins.

by Iain Millar - Aquarius

I blinded myself on your halo's glare,
I cut myself on your angel hair,
My remedy, my melody,
My jeopardy, my destiny,
I had my Chance. He had me.

My porcelain amphetamine,
My butterfly,
My petaline heroin,
You crucify.
We shared endorphins.

Reason for writing:

This poem is a study of power in relationships, addiction, chance, chaos, fate and religion. Oh yeah, and being dumped!
