Sitting here in this warm peaceful attic, I look around at all the things That could tell stories of the years That have come and gone Even before the beginning of my existence. The sad times,the glad times, The times of heartache and misery, And times of happiness when I was born, And others sharing their happiness that my Family has endured. But now is my time. I have a strong passion toward someone Who I barely know and probably will never know. My love for him is like a burning candle, Except that my love for him will never fade away. The word that he speaks to me quite often Sends me into a state of oblivion as if Reality never existed and all that i desire Is him next to me at this very moment. I don't know who he is, what he looks like, His background.....Nothing. But just his words makes me feel close To him as if I already know him And that I feel him drawing near to me. Thousands of miles apart are we, With States, country's, and even continents Separate us form each other. I still know that you are my hearts desire And I will always be waiting for you to come to me And take me away in your arms As we disappear into the sunset, Hand in hand, Eye to eye, Heart to Heart, And the love that will never fade away
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem for a special person that I met on the
chat line and he means a lot to me. I know that I will
probably never see him since he lives several continents
away, but he will always be in my heart till the end. Even
though we're both only 15, I think we have both developed
a special friendship that will never be broken and I will
never forget him.
