no need for a title

by NMW - Taurus

Brought you in-kept you near
my very existence depended upon you.
Warmth embraced me-contentment
became a driving force in my life.
Dreary days were brightened when
I closed my eyes and saw your smile.

But, just as soon as the sun began
to shine-the clouds moved in.
Warmth trickled out-cold crept in
and took hold of my breaking heart.
Contentment became a thing of the past-
confusion and fear took over my life.
