The day will dawn like any other, But the sun will seem to shine more brilliantly. My eyes will be heavy and weary, But they will appear beautiful in the flourescent glow of my mirror. My footsteps will be slow and dragging, But I will be floating in spirit.. about my tiny room like an angel... who has newly feathered wings. I will go through my day like a carefree child... Grinning from ear to ear like a crazy person.. I will dance through my daily routine. My words will flow, my heart will sing.. a familiar song, beating swiftly at the sight, or even thought of someone... that I have never laid eyes on thus far. Someday I shall be loved. And I wait, patiently counting the minutes.. until I see that blazing sun, or hear my heart sing happy melodies. My mind always wanders back to that blissful feeling.. that I long for more than anything else on this earth. I look, I listen, and I wait for that magical "someday." lingering somewhere around the misty corners of my grey existence.
