Friends Forever you promised,
together until the end.
Inseperatble.
Best Friends.
Someone who listens,
makes a friendship glisten.
She has to be sharp,
and as sweet as the sound of a harp.
I had one such friend.
Someone on whom I could depend.
We were always together,
through the good and bad weather.
Then it hit so suddenly.
It was secretly planned so cunningly.
Neither of us expected,
how much we would be affected.
It's not easy breaking up with your best friend.
It's not easy calling it the end.
Our friendship was unfixable,
it was so unpredictable.
As the months passed though,
somehow she became less and less my foe.
We gradually started talking together,
and as time progressed we even started walking together.
This was the end of our fight,
I didn't cry myself to sleep at night.
Everything was going to be okay,
there were no more depressing school days.
Of course BEST FRIENDS we shall never be,
but to be my friend that's all I need.
We're there for each other.
We're friends forver.
Reason for writing:
Well last year when I was in 6th grade,my very best friend since 3rd grade wrote me a not and said she didn't want to be my friend anymore. It was devistaing. I cried myself to sleep at night and I started doing below my standard in school. Finally I played her game. I pretended like it didn't bother me ,but it hurt too much. Then I decided that I didn't wanna be mean so I said, I do care that you don't like me, But I hope you know that I will allways be your friend. I guess it got throguh to her. When I told her that my parents were getting a divorce and that I was moving I guess she got scared. I wass the one who took her in when she was a new kid and I was always there for here and she was always there for me. She didn't have any other friends like that. We finally got everything under control but everytime we talk r pass notes in class it's just not the same, I guess it never will be either.
