The Dream By Big Heart You walk through the door straight to where I am You give me a soft kiss and proudly take my hand As we get on with our work you flash me that sexy smile and give me a look that only I get that says, "We'll be alone in a while." And when the day is over and the building is left empty you pull me close to you and kiss me with passion, gently You hold me tight and whisper you'll love me for all time you'll always be beside me You will always be mine I look into your eyes and promise you my love You say you'll always need it and silently, I thank the Lord above You walk me to my car another day's work gone by We say, "See you tomorrow." and share a long kiss goodnight I look at you and smile there's so much I want to say But then my dream is over and you sadly fade away I hold on to my pillow and whisper into the night I want to tell you how I feel and I promise myself that someday I might You walk through the door You smile at me like a friend Business goes on but I long for tonight when I can dream of you again
