Ology

What is it about an ology that makes people sound so clever.
when added on to random words like biscuit,cheese or feather!
Pick any noun you want they'll all sound just the same.
Rabbit...table...carpet...sausage...fish and rain.
It might sound rather silly, or even downright daft.
But I think it was invented for us to have a laugh.
to make people in all walks of life who are really slightly dim,
Seem smarter than joe public when an ology's put in.
