WHY? Surround it by people Yet all alone The cold emptiness feeling. The feeling of abandonment All mix inside. My needs are covered, But a part of me is missing. I wasn't good enough for you. I wasn't loved by you. These trap feelings are finally surfacing. They crossed my mind a million times. Why?? Why did you leave me? Why didn't you love me? Why did you try killing me? You brought me into this world, But tried taking it away, Even before I had a chance to live. Beating your power of control and pain you inflict it, make me stronger, or hurt me more? You held the gun to your head And pulled the trigger, Leaving me at birth to survive on my own. Now I wonder 16 years later, Daddy why did you hate me so? I know this isn't the greatest poem I wrote I've done better I don't think the verses flow together, but when I had free time these last couple of days I wrote it, not knowing where it was going to leave me with, or what i was writing about till i was done, i just let the feelings inside me flow out onto the paper.
