Struck by unsuspecting smile Bringing shimmer to my eyes Seeding solemn embers With each touch of trusting lithe I climb to be complete Everybody needs And everybody feels What not everybody holds But new-struck fire Calmed frozen cries And willing, though I be, Arms perched for embrace, But with a blinded gust They're swept closed empty This hollow pain, brought to my knees Buried deep in vacancy Amiss, I sigh And claw back up.
