Dying Love

by Steve Powers - Virgo

With every passing day,
I can feel you pulling away.
It hurts me more than you will ever know,
Cause my feelings I do not show.
My heart aches with pain,
Pain of being left again.
I can't imagine never being able to look into your eyes,
And with that thought my heart dies.

I'm dying inside,
In you I must confide.
This is the story of,
Our dying love.

Pain was the only thing caused,
When our love you have paused.
My heart has been burned,
Since that page has been turned.
One of the pages of life,
That only causes strife.
Can you feel my rage,
That comes with the turning of this page?

Now you are dying inside,
In me you must confide.
This is the story of,
Our dying love.

So will you come back please,
I'm down on my knees.
But don't come back because you feel bad,
That will just make me mad.
I guess this must be my fate,
The pain it causes I hate.
All I feel is shame,
And this dying love is to blame.

We are dying inside,
In each other we must confide.
And that is the story of,
Our dying love.
