The One I Need

I can't believe losing him 
Was what finally made me see
How much I need him next to me 
How much I tear 
Because his is no longer near
Without him my life it isn't the same 
It feels like this life is some silly game 
My heart is so torn 
Sometimes I think why was I even born?
Was I but on this earth 
Just to get hurt?
I need him so bad 
But his love is going to be gone 
Just like my dad 
If he could only see 
How much he means to me
