Mom you told me not to rush love Because it'll end up a heartbreak I should have listened But instead i chose to learn from my mistake you told me the feelings he has for me Won't last very long And again you were right BUt so badly i had wished you were wrong You told me that he was just a bad day And with tomorrow comes the dawn I just looked at you with a smile and nod And then turned around and let out a ywan I never took waht you said serious But now i'm older and can see That you are mostly right ANd know much more than me
