by Elysia "ely" Rashid - Taurus

My heart was a piece of glass
You treated with care
Then you broke it
Shattering it everywhere
You were an angel
Who broke my heart
My nights of longing wishes
May have tore our love apart
You've moved on to a next
While I continue to cry
You tell her you love her
The words come out like a gentle lullaby
The lullaby that used to belong to me
That you've given away
The lullaby you now sing to her
In the exact same way
Tomorrow is just another day of pain
As yesterday was too
Our love was a seed planted
That never grew
Expecting another day of pain
Sweltering my way
ANother dead seed planted
Then blown away
Happiness in my life
Never prevails
While sorrow continuously fills
My romantic tales
