Why Why didn't I think, Why didn't I listen, Guys only want you for one thing, My mom told me all of the warnings, My dad told me that he did it too, All he wanted from girls was sex, That was it, After he got what he wanted, He left, Never again will I do it, I have learned my lesson, Learned my lesson the hard way, I know how the guys are now, I didn't want to listen, But now I'm telling every girl that they should listen, Listen to what their parents say, Don't just go out and do it because you want a guy to like you, When you fall in love you will know that its the right time, Some people say that wait until you are married, Some say that you need to be experienced, But others just do what they want to do, Never again will it happen, I made a promise to myself and to others, That I would wait until I got married, My mom got mad at me, My dad doesn't know, I'm not pregnant, Thank God for that, If I would have been, No soccer for me, No scholarship, Everything would have been down hill form there, Please forgive me for what I have done, Please, Please, It will never happen again!
Reason for writing:
The reason why I wrote this poem is because I have made the wrong choice and I want Teenagers and other people to think twice about what they are doing. Follow your dreams, don't let stupid mistakes take over your life. I thought that I was pregnant(thank the lord I wasn't!), if I would have been then I would have ruined what I have worked so hard at getting. Please don't make the same mistake that I did.
