I see love as a bond That two people share Two of them are loving Gentle & full of care Loyalty, honesty, & trust Keeps them together Sharing, affection, communicating Is what makes it better To think the world of someone Like they are your sun Someone you can talk with And have lots of fun Someone to laugh at your jokes Make you smile when you frown Someone who can handle anger And handle ups and downs Someone to watch over you And can't stand being away Someone who is always eager To see you each day Someone who will commit Who will hear what you have to say Someone who tries to call you At least once each day When they near your heart flutters As if you've just met Being with them you are happy Together you feel set Sometimes it takes a while To find someone to love And once you do Cherish them as if they're from above
Reason for writing:
I fell in love with a guy and I wrote about how I felt our relationship should be. I still think of how I wish it would have went like this.
