Fire Fire burning bright, Languidly in the pale moonlight, Its tongue to lick the placid sky And beauty searing to the eye, Burning rhythm with Fleeting face Provoking an eternal chase. The ashes of its life spread vast Conquering all within its past. Growing old its final course set, He knows his final place and yet, Consuming hope and all to cherish He hides from destiny afraid to perish Grasping air he slowly flies Fearing his impending demise.
