Flowing in the breeze Moving gracefully upon the air Shining in the midday sun Your mane of vibrant hair. A twinkle of mischief A sparkle of fun Can be seen within your deep dark eyes So full of life and energy But also full of emotion And effervescent colours and shades Of every facet of your being. The curve of your mouth You soft smooth lips That smile of joy Which melts the inner me And makes me weak and helpless In your arms. I turn to rubber No coordination in my movements My words, jumbled and incoherent My mind a blur You drive me crazy And no matter how hard I try I can’t gain control Even if I wanted to This is what you are to me This is what you do to me This, I wouldn’t change.
