Recollective #6

by MDM Matthew - Libra

Darkness engulfs me,
where are you?
The colors of my life
have turned into gray from blue...

Blood trickles down,
and so I see a missappen body.
My restlessness and fear
delivered Him into custody.

Tears run down.
Are they all but sincere?
I cry out loud,
but can anyone really hear?

The pain and anguish,
the bitterness in me...
But still you say
I can be turned into something lovely.

You hold the key,
and this I truly believe...
But still why did
the heavenly throne you leave?

My heart,
it searches so deeply, so true.
But still I am
at a loss without you.

Lightning crashes
and so does the rain.
But even the howling gale
cannot drown out the pain.

My eyes are dimmed
and filled with tears,
and still you seem to bear
all my darkest years.

Do you really love me?
Or is it all a lie?
That you bore all my sins
and that's what led you to die.

But I cannot imagine
how you love me so,
but still I thank you dearly.
'Cause now I won't let go...

Reason for writing:

We all feel that life dishes out more than we can chew at some point in our life. But I realized that there life IS not worth living if we live it blindly. And despite all our past mistakes, blunders foul ups. Even though no one else accepts us, there is someone who will. GOD. His arms are open, waiting for you to move into His embrace. He always has and always will be there. Waiting. Yearning. It's your call, your life. Your choice. But what is life without a reason. Ask God. He'll tell you.
