Well-Mannered

by Kristina Harris - Aries

What if I would scream and sigh,
at ever walking passer-by?
What if I would wear no shoes,
and shuffle as I sang the blues?
What if I would wear no clothes,
and see how swift the traffic flows?
What if I lit up a smoke,
in smoke-free dining for a joke?
What if I skipped saying please,
and kicked my waitress in the knees?
What if I would kiss that guy,
the one who always passes by?
What if I would use no spoon,
and slurped my soup like a bafoon?
What if I'd not hold the door,
a kind stranger I'd be no more.
For if well-mannered I remain,
I guarantee I'll go insain.
So excuse me, as I scream and sigh,
For I think I see a passer by.

Reason for writing:

Just a fun one for a change.
