All memories of you

by MDM Matthew - Libra

A smile creases my forehead.
Oh the pain!
How I prayed to feel your
arms around me.
This I never gained.

You made me see things
I never knew I never knew.
I was awakened to your voice
and caused me to hear beauty, even
in the most distorted view

To love,
when did it become a sin?
And yet I find it hard
to forget all the
memories that had been.

The dying ember of hope,
the shinning jewel broken...
I lie here hapless
with pain which stings deep within...
all of memories of you.

Reason for writing:

We all do reminisce sometimes, and with the fond memories, come the pain, the frustration and even the tears.
