As i sit alone,the sun shining on my face I close my eyes and think of a distant place A place where we spoke of love so true A place where there was nothing togethor we couldnt do That place no longer exists I have nothing left to give you except my wish My wish for you is of love and peace My oath to you is that my love will never cease I no longer hear your joyful laugh that is all part of a tearful past Be happy my love and be strong In our love there was nothing wrong So my wish i give to you There is nothing more i can say or do Be the man i used i know and all your wonderful ways to the whole world show I loved you then and i love you now In front of you i lay my wounded heart down So take my wish and hold it near Hear my words of love as i whisper in the air Please be happy with the path you choose I will always cherish the memories,that i will never lose
