I am one man amongst all men. I wonder what went wrong, I hear the screams, I see the pain, I want it to stop! I am one man amongst all men. I pretend that I am a god, I feel the Earth, I touch the sky, I worry about the human race, I cry as I crush it all. I am one man amongst all men. I understand nothing of this world, I say nothing to anyone, I dream of a new world, Itry to envision one, I hope for it to prosper. I am one man amongst all men.
Reason for writing:
I had a poetry project in english class last
year and we had to write an "I am" poem. This
is the poem that got me into writing poetry.
