Confusion Thought By Richard Maxfield 12-1-99 Rain softly beats on the roof Lonely wind howls Darkness of night My heart growls Setting alone in a darkened room Quietness all around Lost in thought Hopeless abound Memories so sweet So sad Happy sorrow Most good some bad Life’s fire dampened To a single amber glow What to do next Which way to go What will tomorrow bring Happy or sad Live out a dream Anguish or glad Rain soaks the thoughts Deep in my mind Of another place Another time What went right What went wrong Life is short Life is to long Aching pain So deep inside No where to run No where to hide Spending my life In an empty hell Once there was love Now there is silenceBirth sign: Gemini
