Dream of a Place

Dream of a Place
By Richard Maxfield
8-29-99

Dream of a world with no pain
nothing to lose nothing to gain
dream of a love that will never pass
a love for ever, a love that last
no need for money, or what it can buy
forever happy, never to cry
no fighting, no blood spilled
eternal peace, no one killed
nothing, but peaceful rest
no ever day rush, no harmful stress
the air not polluted, not even smog
there is no death, not even a frog
birds sing, their joyous song
life is eternal, life is long
babbling brooks, with water so clear
all of our loved ones, for ever near
this is the place, that I will go
when no more life my body shows
