I Dream of You 10-13-99 by Richard Maxfield I dream of you, in the night hours spent, holding you tight I dream of you, in the day remembering each, sweet word you say I think of looking, deep in your eyes emotions run wild, and my heart flies the feel of your warmth, next to me no where on earth, I had rather be the taste, of your sweet kiss nothing short, of heavenly bliss gently kiss, your soft ear the smell of your hair, so very clear run my hand, over your shoulder my blood boils, making me bolder all of these things, are what I dream you and I forever, or so it seams for you nothing, I would not do a life together, me and you I give my life, with out a thought what you and I share, can not be bought I long, for the wonderful day you and I, can run away no one on earth, but you and I please be mine, this I cry no words can explain, the love I feel it is not a dream, it is real
Reason for writing:
This poem I wrote about my wife of 22 years. She had an found a boyfriend and desided to leave me and our children. The person she left me for dumped her 2 months after she left. I think of her all the time. I love her to this day over a year later. So this poem is about a dream that none of this ever happened.Birth sign: Gemini
