by MDM Matthew - Libra

Am I dreaming?
Or am I really seeing a creature of beauty?
My heart moves to her every footstep,
Her voice is like music to my ear,
And my heart, it jumps whenever she is near.

The beauty of her eyes shame the stars in the heavenly recess.
Her hair, softer, darker, lighter than that of silk.
And her grace is that of a princess…
Her skin! Oh so soft as a coat of a fawn,
And her smile is the cause of dawn.

But woe be to me!
She is not mine, nor will she ever be,
The love of mine she never knew.
Alas, my love who never was
I pray to God and beg on the mercy that He has…

Because to part from you is like a night without stars,
To loose the sound of your voice
Is like countless, soundless hours.
To love you again means pain for me,
But then again, I guess you never did see…

My love for you will always be,
Searching, yearning, looking for thee.
My heart? You captured on that starry night,
But fate would not let me play the part…

So is this what I am meant to be?
A love sick fool for all to see?
With memories of you in my head.
So this is all that was meant to be,
Love's own fool for all to see…

Reason for writing:

Sometimes, love would knock at our door, yet not enter no matter how hard we would plead with her to come in to our lives.
She would just stay there, mocking... grining. Tormenting our very souls to beg that we may be allowed to fall in to the delicate arms of love. And we would be granted not...
