Its the illusion that binds us to our feet which keeps our feet to the ground Its the illusion that keeps us from a constant frown The words we speak the lies we seek Pry those stitches that are keeping us to the ground and slowly oh ever so slowly the veil is lifted from over my unaware eyes until i look evermore closely and glimpse a world without a haze without the fog without the clever maze i run though that usually keeps me searching for an exit that isnt there In panic i cover my poor eyes and just breathe and try to calm this bothered mind "I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, i only see another tunnel"
