Suicide

by Daisy Peaches - Taurus

Holding the sharp blade close to my wrist,
To be gone soon with one easy twist.
Death of myself, by myself, with my own hand,
To be buried far beneath the sand.
Pushed to the end, pushed to the grief,
To plunge off a cliff so rocky and steep.
Under the water, so as to be deaf to all whom cry,
To be the only one there when I die.
Swallow the capsules as I swallowed the pain,
My whole life shattered like a droplet of rain.
Though I kill myself, they committed the crime,
They are the ones who made me want to die.

Reason for writing:

I have had friends in the past who have wanted and tried to commit suicide and I took their words and tried to imagine their pain. I wanted to put myself in a state of mind so I could understand them and my poem helped me a lot.
