Paying Price

by Christine W. - Aquarius

New to the area, a brand new school,
Just trying to fit in , and trying to be cool
Invited to a party with a lot of hot guys,
This was a chance that you couldn't pass by
I told my parents I would be back that night,
They said everything was all right
I walked out the door and something was wrong,
I knew it deep down all along
I didn't say anything and we were gone,
For I had no idea my live were to be withdrawn
He was in a hurry going way to fast,
And soon my life would exsist in the past
"Please slow down before we crash,"
But the next thing I knew there was a big flash
I woke up and saw my mother at side,
She said nothing just cried, and cried
"Mom it's me, what is wrong,"
She then began to sing a sweet, sweet song
I saw my life as it faded away,
For this was the ultimate price to pay!
