As I see the world in my mind now, I stand here and question how? As I stand here and watch people go by, Not a smirk or smile, they don't even say hi. They are black and white...... yellow and brown. No matter there race they all wear a frown. The world that is built in my mind, Is something that we will never find. Why must people be so evil and mean? Blood is always what i've ever seen. Lots of people carry guns and knives, Going and killing our husbands and wives. Why must people go out and kill? Is it some kind of sick pleasure they must fulfill? Isn't killing a mortal sin? I thought that is the way it has always been. People are dying from left and right, And still all we can do is stand and fight. I'm still standing here questioning my mind. Will this place we ever find? Our world is quickly becoming corrupted, It seems every day people are being abducted. The human race is quite strange, I pray that some day we will all change. This world we live in is indeed dark, But we can't say anything, we've all left a mark. I dream of total happiness and bliss, But when i awake, i awake to this. This world that i have created in my mind, Is probably something that we will never find.

My inspirations for this poem is all of the hurt and pain that our world and society has and is facing.
