you may not think I do, But I hear what you say. I hear many things, Things you don't understand. I hear the pain in peoples faces, I hear the laughter of children. You may not think i do but i hear you I hear the way you say You hate that i'm deaf. I hear the way you get frustrated Trying to sign to me. I hear when you cry When i take time to understand you, But you must trust me when i say, I hear your words. I hear the look on your face when your scared, I hear your footsteps pacing across the floor, And i even hear you heavy sigh When your stress cause of me. I know I take time, I know it's hard for you But understand it's hard for me too, because there are things i don't hear. I don't hear you say you love me, I don't hear you praise me when i do good. Mommy, Daddy, you must understand I hear you but sometime I wish i couldn't.
