I want you to listen to me now. There’s something I need to say. I know you’re very timid when it comes to love, You’re afraid to give your heart away. If you open up, and let it flow, There’s much to be gained, Much more to know. It seems to me you don’t believe in love, At least not at our age. Well, trust in me, it can happen, There’s no need to be afraid. I know that love, it can exist, For I thought I felt it once before, By now, you see, I’ve realized, I could’ve felt more. I thought, back then, the feeling was love, But it seems now I was wrong. It was a different kind of love, you see, Much different than the unconditional kind we receive from above. I’ve had many different feelings for many different guys. But this one, you see, is different. Don’t need to hide in my disguise. This is the strongest I’ve ever felt for someone.
