...And So It Must Be

by Corey Drover - Virgo

I built a shrine, which she tore down
I fell right in, she let me drown
The screams of angels fell on her deaf ears
Just like the sound of my falling tears

Hold a candle for me my friend
For I know my life is at an end
Just one click and it's time to say bye
Yet I leave behind a love that won't die

I've only spilled the blood of the damned
The doorway of my life was jammed
Impassable and covered with stone
It forced me to always be alone

So now I see that love was my crime
Come visit me in hell sometime
Eternally loving her I'll always be
But I am someone that she'll never see

Reason for writing:

Loved and lost yet again, an all too common theme
