Sunday Afternoon

by Teresa - Scorpio

Sitting on a dock by the bay
Sucking on a straw full of alize'
Thinking bout' all those games we used to play
Throwing dice all around the ground
Ignoring our mothers' cries to come inside
Jus' cuz' we didn't want that excitement to subside
Then high school came and went
Remember? all we cared about was drinking and getting bent!
Now I sit here alone cuz' to heaven you were sent
I wonder what we'd be doing if you were here....
probably laughing at life as we cherish the things that we hold dear
As I raise my glass to toast your soul, I wipe my eyes that are full of tears
Cuz' all I can say to you now is......Cheers
